Chorizo Pasta

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add pasta and cook according to packet directions until al dente.
  2. Heat oil in a fry pan, cook onion until soft.
  3. Add sliced chorizo sausage and cook for five minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Stir in pesto sauce and halved tomatoes, simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Drain pasta, return to pot, add pasta sauce and stir through.
  6. Serve in bowls sprinkled with torn basil leaves.
